What is the Challenge?


Challenges consist of two or more teams contending for the top spot in a friendly competition.  Challenge others to increase their activity levels.  Realistic, measurable goals and fun competition build momentum in physical activity programs, offer a sense of accomplishment, and inspire participants to lead healthier and more active lifestyles.  

 

Examples of possible Challenges:

  • Which team can walk from RC to DC first!
  • Which team can walk to Europe first!
  • Who can walk the most steps in a month!

How Do Group Challenges Work?

 

Perhaps your workplace would like to put a team together to challenge another department?  Or maybe your team would like to challenge another team?  It is up to you to decide what type of challenge will motivate participants! 

                       

Set Up The Challenge:  Click on the Create a new Challenge and enter the information for the Challenge.

 

Get Members to Join The Challenge:  Send an e-mail to those you would like to join your Challenge.

 

Join a Challenge:  Click on a Challenge from the list below.

 

Monitor Team Progress:  Once your Challenge is set up, team members must visit the website on a regular basis and log their steps and activity.  You will be able to compare the number of members on each team and the total team steps by logging into the website!
